Moondust's Arrival to Alfea
A tall white haired girl steps off the bus in front of Alfea and looks around with large orange cat like eyes that took in every little thing in the darkest of the night. She held her bag closely as her ears stood still as if she was deaf and her tail was wagging a bit excited but nervous too. She was far from her home in the mountains of Deamonic and now in Magix to attend Alfea at Palladium's request. She remember her father saving him while he was on a trip to her planet for a summer study trip. He was about to be attacked by an ancient Wendigo that he accidently woke up from it's slumber. She was very curious in him when her father brought him in, she smiled remembering her father kept shooing her away from the tent a lot. He had noticed that she was a fairy faster than her own Tribe's Magia or shaman as Palladium had called they're Magia at first. At first her father refused but then being alone thinking he agreed to it believing it would help her develop as an individual and as the next to be Chief of their Tribe.
As the bus left her in front of the school she looked down at herself taking in her outfit. It was the only outfit she could find that wasn't very Tribal like. It was a light blue jacket with short flowing sleeves and a hood with white wolf fur on the ends of the sleeves and around the hood. Her pants were blue as well with a dagger sheathed on her left thigh. Her boots went up to the middle of her calf with wolf fur on them. Accenting the entire outfit was, tribal runes, red string and the red sheath. Her gloves went up to her wrists and she wore a black choker with a yellow bell on it. Fingering her bell she looked back up to see an elderly lady and an elf walking up to her.
"Professor Palladium," Moondust said as she used her soundwave magic to help her speak and hear.
"Hello Candra, did you have a safe trip?" Palladium asked smiling at her.
"Yes I did thank you for asking," She replied as she looked curiously at the elderly woman.
"I am Headmistress Faragonda of this school and Palladium has told me all about you. I do hope you enjoy your time here and meet friends. But most importantly to develop and reach your highest potential as a fairy and the next Tribal Chief. Not only will you learn but the other students will learn from you as well." Faragonda explained smiling kindly at Moondust.
"Thank you, I'm honored to be here." Moondust said putting her hand on her chest and nodding her head respectfully. Palladium and Faragonda both done the same thing to her as it was a common greeting on her planet.
"And we're honored to have you here, Miss Moondust. Let's get you to your room and then tomorrow I'll have Musa show you around." Faragonda said as she showed the way to the dorms. Palladium left towards the Teacher's Dorms leaving the women alone.
"I don't know if Palladium told you but I'm deaf." Moondust said very uncomfortable. Back home she was always told to never say a word about it due to the fact it would make her invalid as the next chief of her tribe.
"Your father told me when I talked to him. It's why I'm having Musa give you the tour of Alfea. She's the fairy of Music and part of the Winx, though you might not know who they are. Your dimension isn't very up to date on every other dimension. They saved the universe many times." Faragonda replied as she stopped in front of a door "This is the dorm you'll be sharing with four other girls, I'm sure you'll meet them soon enough tomorrow."
"Thank you Headmistress," Moondust said trying to hold back a yawn. She was tired and ready to go to bed from her long journey. Faragonda led her inside and pointed over to a door with Moondust's name on it.
"Over there is your room, go ahead and get some sleep. Musa will be here tomorrow to give you a tour." Faragonda said before leaving the room. Moondust went into the bedroom and looked around a bit. The room reminded her that she was far from home and everything was modern compared to Deamonic. She set her bags on the floor before going over to the bed and falling into it to go to sleep.
Moondust woke to feeling vibrations in the air. It has a rythm to it and she figured it was either music or the daily routine the other students do before going to classes. She sat up and stretched making strange sound that sounded like a kitten purring, looking around once more her eyes landed on a small area where people have carved words into the wall. On the top someone has put Winx then underneath it showed many more words that seemed to have the same thing in common. Each word ended with the letter x. The last one was Historix which made Moondust wonder if it was a wall of fame or something for groups. Suddenly she remembered that the Winx was a group of fairies that saved the universe multiple times.
“Must be a wall of all the groups that came after the Winx,” Moondust said softly before going to get ready for Musa to take her around the school. She figured she’d ask Musa about the wall and see if they knew what it’s about. After getting ready for the day she went out into the common room for her dorm to see an asian woman sitting on a couch with headphones on and listening to music on high. Moondust could tell cause she could feel each beat in the air and it was clear as a cloudless night. The woman looked up from her magazine and smiled at Moondust before shutting the music off and putting the earphones around her neck.
“Hey Moondust, I’m Musa. Faragonda said you’re new and like me to take you around the school.” Musa said handing her hand to Moondust. Moondust stared at it not sure what to do. Musa then hit her forehead with her head as if she just remembered something.
“That’s right you don't shake hands on your home planet. Sorry I completely forgot about that.” Musa said making Moondust look up at her.
“Oh no we do something entirely different but….will you teach me your way of greeting new people?” Moondust asked blushing a bit. Musa laughed and nodded as she helped Moondust learn how to shake hands.
