Greetings fellow writing villains (it's a working title, I don't exactly have a name for members of the CVW although suggestions are open).

The next book discussion theme has been decided: Gothic Horror.

The Book Club discussion will be about what classifies as Gothic Horror and how the story you picked displays that horror. Did the story scare you or give you other feelings of fearful emotion or did it dull you to Hades and back?

Reading Suggestions:

Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Frankenstien by Mary Shelly
Fall at the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe
Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux
Hound of Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle
Japanese Gothic Tales by Kyoka Izumi
Red Spectres by Muiream Maguire

As before, if you have any suggestions to add to the list, leave a comment below and I will update the list weekly.

Discord Discussion Date and Time:

October 20th

8:30 PM EST

Date and Times are subject to change to accommodate as many schedules as possible. Seperate meetings can be made if needed.
